Education
Law degree, Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile; admitted to the bar in 1984.
Experience
Her career has been tied to banking and capital markets. She was chief legal counsel of BankBoston (1992–2006) and Banco Itaú (2007–2010), where she worked on mortgage lending, leasing, factoring, foreign trade, treasury and electronic banking products, and on the change of control of BankBoston Chile.
As legal manager of Treasury and Capital Markets at Scotiabank (2011–2016) she handled bond issuances, syndicated financings and liability restructurings, and was responsible for the legal affairs of the group's brokerage and fund management companies.
She currently advises China Construction Bank, Chile Branch, on the development of its corporate business.
